Welcome to MDCrush Online!

Celebrating our 8th season of providing quality wine grapes, juice, and fruit processing to amateur winemakers in the region. MDCrush leverages its long term relationships with local winegrowers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia to provide customers with the best locally grown fruit for making wine.

MDCrush also has established relationships with distributors for Wine Grapes and Juices from Argentina, Chile, California, and Canada.

MDCrush staff has over 17 years of winemaking experience including commercial wine processing and viticultural experience in the local wine industries of Virginia and Maryland. Additionally, MDCrush strives to stay current with winemaking practices by being an active member of the Maryland Grape Growers Association (MGGA), and the Virginia Vineyards Association (VVA). MDCrush is currently working towards a UC Davis certification in Enology and Viticulture, and regularly attends various tehcnical winemaking and winegrowing seminars put on by numerous educational organizations including Virginia Tech, and The Pennsylvania State University. MDCrush has also been invited to participate in the processing of research wines using experimental Russian hybrid grape varieties sponsored by the University of Maryland Western Maryland Research and Education Center.

Our winemaking expertise is passed on to our customers in casual and structured exchanges. Many of our first time customers graduate up from making kit wines to the full winemaking process starting with the raw materials (The Grapes!). We also provide basic chemical analysis of customer wines upon request.

Small vineyard operators who do not produce enough fruit to be considered by commercial wineries can leverage the aggregation of small amateur winemaker MDCrush orders to move their entire harvest. MDCrush has also successfully brokered commercial deals for MD vineyards with wineries in Pennsylvania, New Jeresy, New York, and Massachusetts. Vineyards which prefer a "You pick" harvest model can benefit from MDCrush's mobile crush pad including crusher/destemer, and press. We can set up full grape processing right at your vineyard.
